Make plans now to be part of this spiritually enriching time and be intentional on strengthening the family bond.
Gather at the Grove for free hot dogs and an ice cream sundae in a relaxed informal setting as we open Family Camp on Saturday at 6 p.m. Get reacquainted with old friends and make some new ones as the Penny Loafers quartet stroll the grounds providing musical entertainment. You are invited to display your classic car.
The speaker for Sunday morning worship is Mid-Atlantic District Superintendent, Rev. Doug Conley.
Dr. Rock Dillaman is the evening Speaker. Rock serves as pastor of the Allegheny Center Alliance Church in Pittsburgh with an average attendance of over 2500. The congregation’s ethnic, economic and social makeup reflects the local community. Dillaman has served as vice president, interim president and chairman of the Board of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He and his wife Karen have three children and five grandchildren.
The morning Bible Hour Teacher is Rev. Neil Breneman. Neil was born and raised in Lancaster County, PA and has served in three Eastern PA District Churches in the past 16 years. He is currently the Lead Pastor of the Lewistown C&MA Church. He is passionate about sharing the relevance of Scripture for everyday life. Teen Ministry is led by Rev. Bill Klees. Bill is the pastor at Community Alliance Church in Towanda, PA where he is known for combining games and God’s Word to equip teens and adults to go deeper in their faith. Bill spent more than 15 years in camp ministry allowing him to think outside the church box when it comes to helping teens understand just how much God loves them and to discover the joy of serving Him.
Rev. Ryan Clarke heads the Children’s Ministry. Ryan serves as the Children’s Pastor at Daybreak Church in Mechanicsburg PA. He is married and has four kids. The morning program will explore and discover answers to life’s big questions. Is God real? What is God like? How did we get here? Why did God create me? How can I follow Jesus? And what is my mission? Kids will worship together with high energy music, be joined by Johnny Stratosphere and his six-legged sidekick, Fuzzbucket, play gaga ball together, have a snack, and will use hands on imagination station gizmos to remember what God’s Word says. The evening program will use science tricks, video testimonies from kids, high energy worship, and creative thinking to explore how the Holy Spirit lives inside of Jesus followers and how we can submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Kids will be challenged to report back on how God used them every day at camp.
Global Focus Seminars on relevant topics will be presented Monday and Tuesday by Don and Sarah Jones, Thursday by Amy Nielson and Friday by Jeff King. There will be a Ladies luncheon on Wednesday and a Men’s breakfast on Friday.

A Campers Perspective
Shawn – "This is our families second year at Family Camp. We have been blessed to be a part of this yearly gathering. My children have enjoyed the Bible teaching and the pool. My wife and I have been refreshed and refocused from the teaching."
Theresa – "I attended Kids Camp through Senior High Camp growing up. I gave my life to the Lord in the Youth Tabernacle at 11 years old. My last year at Senior High Camp, God gave me a promise and at Family Camp 2015 I had an opportunity to help lead worship one evening. The promise God gave me as a teen came full circle. Now my kids are beginning to make memories of their own and it is a blessing to be part of this camp experience. We look forward to many more memory making opportunities at Summit Grove in the future."
