Recent History 1999 - Summit Grove incorporated as an independent nonprofit corporation with its own Board of Directors. 2001 - A low ropes adventure course was added. 2003 - Tim Brokopp came on board as Camp Director to assist the Executive Director and take over the programming of our summer camps. 2004 - A new 11,000 sq. ft. building has been completed. This buliding will hold 24 rooms, each containing its own private bath. One large meeting room, a kitchen, and an eating area will also be a part of the new lodge. This building will be winterized to allow the camp to provide services to the community year round.
