Art Camp | July 13-17, 2020
For Boys and Girls (1st through 5th Grade)
This camp is limited to 25 students. Sign up your children as soon as possible to insure their spot.

Mrs. Myers brings her love of the Lord and of the beauty of His creation to Summit Grove for the 2020 season. Mrs. Myers has a bachelors degree in Art Education, which she used abundantly in homeschooling her 8 children. Most recently, in addition to regularly teaching her youngest 4 children a variety of art techniques and media, Mrs. Myers has been conducting art workshops within the local homeschool community and for her neighbors and friends. Mrs. Myers and her family live in Dover and are members of West Side Baptist Church in Thomasville.
COST: $200.00 for the week (Registration due before June 12th)
$20.00 Late Fee (Starting June 13th)
Who Should Attend?
Elementary aged children, going into grades 1-5, that enjoy hands on art experiences are welcome to register.
Come explore different art styles with Mrs. Myers. She plans to incorporate her art lessons
with a study of influential people throughout history. Examples of this is the lion and bear shown on this page (Ignatius [108AD] - lion) and (Zacharias Ursinus (1534-1583) - bear, saber tooth tiger turned bear).
The campers will have the opportunity to use various media (watercolor, oil pastels, clay, chalks, tempera, markers, etc.) and elements and principles of art and design to create paintings, still life, mixed media, collage, and prints.
