Pool Information

Open for members from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Summit Grove’s outdoor pool is a refreshing way to relax in the summertime! We have a small in-ground baby pool and a large in-ground pool surrounded by pool chairs and umbrellas. There are also bathhouses available at the inner circle.

Our pool is open for members from Memorial Day through Labor Day. 

Seasonal pool pass members can enjoy regular swim time from 4-8 pm Sunday through Friday (Mondays closed). On Saturdays, the pool is open for seasonal pool pass members from 3-9 pm.

Please note that the following BLACK OUT dates, where the pool will be closed to seasonal pool pass members:

  • July 18-23, 2021 (Mon-Fri)
  • August 28, 2021 (Sat)

In addition to the pool, Summit Grove maintains a beautiful upper field area with a small playground, volleyball, basketball, gaga ball, wall ball, wiffle ball and more. The upper field is available for pool pass members provided it is not booked for group rentals.

A limited number of seasonal pool passes are available for the 2021 season. These are $220 per family (family defined as 2+ members of the same household. At least one adult and any dependent children) for the entire season. Individuals are able to purchase passes at the price of $120 per individual for the entire season.

Day guests are welcome at $5/guest/day and guests must be accompanied at all times by a seasonal pool pass member.

Summit Grove’s pool is established and operated on Christian principles.  While pool pass holders do not need to sign a statement of faith or hold to a particular set of Christian beliefs; we do require that all members agree to our pool rules and principles, and the rules of Summit Grove.

Pool hours are subject to change based on weather and membership demand.

  • All persons using the pool, or pool area, do so at their own risk and sole responsibility. The management does not assume responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with the use of the pool. The cost of any property damage will be charged to the responsible party.
  • All persons must use the facility in conformity with all rules and regulations. Any person may be denied admission to the pool area for violation of the rules and regulations at the discretion of facility leadership.
  • No immodest bathing suits or clothing is allowed.  Womens' and girls' swimsuits must cover the midriff area. Speedos for men are not permitted.
  • Running, rough play and conduct not conducive to safety a re prohibited in the pool and pool area.
  • Disrespect toward the authority of the lifeguards will not be tolerated.
  • Management reserves the right to limit the number of guests admitted in the event of overcrowding.
  • Everyone within the pool area will either need to be a season pass holder, a paying guest, or a retreat guest.
  • Only swim when a lifeguard is present.
  • Children, 12 years of age or under, MUST be accompanied by a responsible person of at least 16 years of age.
  • Individuals who are not fully potty-trained are required to wear a swim diaper. It is recommended that an additional cover, such as a plastic reusable diaper cover, be worn over top of the swim diaper.
  • Admission can be refused to anyone with skin abrasions, colds, coughs, inflamed eye infections or certain type of bandages. Please dispose of trash in proper receptacles.
  • No food, chewing gum or hard candy should be consumed while swimming.
  • No pets allowed within the pool area.
  • Ear buds must be used when playing music.
  • Chairs/tables may not be reserved and are available on a first come, first served basis.
  • No smoking within the fenced area and within 20 feet of any buildings.
  • Alcohol is not permitted on grounds.
  • No running on pool deck.
  • No touching or hanging on pipe located at shallow end of pool.
  • No climbing on the railing near the stairs.
  • No flipping off any pool edge.
  • Diving ONLY allowed in designated areas (includes pencil diving).
  • NO dunking, pushing, or pulling others into the pool.
  • No excessive splashing.
  • No pulling on, swimming over, or sitting on the rope dividing the shallow and deep ends of the pool.
  • Wash any sand off your body before entering the pool.
  • Always obey the lifeguard.
  • Gambling, obscene literature, profane language, illegal drugs, firearms, fireworks, or explosives are not permitted on grounds. Guests who violate pool guidelines or reasonable requests made by staff may be asked to leave the facility.

Inclement Weather Policy

Upon the sound of thunder or sight of lightning, guests must exit pool and wait under pavilion or inside for 30 minutes. These 30 minutes will restart at every sound of thunder or sight of lightning.
