Learn or brush up on basic field hockey skills, play games, build friendships and get active! All levels of experience are welcome! This camp will provide an introduction to Field Hockey for players that are new to the game to build basic skills and game knowledge and for players that are more experienced to improve their skills as well as learn new ones. The camp coaches will be provided by Kati Nearhouse, former Division I player, National Champion 2015 at Syracuse University, Coach for USA Futures, college, club and high school levels. Kati will be assisted by other SYC/local coaches, and SHS Varsity players.
Important Notes: There will be a maximum of 10-12 campers per coach. This camp will be held for 3 half days (8:30-1pm) with lunch included.

Brianne has been coaching the Southern Middle School Junior High Field Hockey team for the past 5 seasons, starting her 6th season this fall. She played field hockey for Susquehannock and was involved in the Futures program as a junior and senior. She attended James Madison University (JMU) where she participated on the club field hockey team. Brianne, along with a few others in the community, just recently got approval to start the SYC Youth Field Hockey program this fall. She is excited to introduce field hockey to our youth and build their skills and knowledge of the game as well as to share her love and passion of the game.
- Field Hockey Stick (size should be about hip height)
