Summer Camp Counselors & Support Staff

Major Responsibilities:

Characteristics:

  • Demonstrates a Christ-like character and willingness to work with others.

Skills:

  • Able to teach the Bible. CPR and First Aid (can provide training). Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods. Great work ethic. Loves to be on a team.

Qualifications

  • Flexible schedule, 13-15 Years of Age for Staff-in-Training, 16 or more Years of Age for Counselors or Support Staff

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting, Carrying, Climbing, Reaching, Pulling, Pushing, Stooping, Standing, Bending, Speaking, Listening

Reports to:

  • Day Camp Director

Compensation/ Benefits:

  • Lunch, meal access, optional onsite housing

Time:

  • Full-Time, Seasonal (1 week of training, 5 wks of camp, w/ optional 6th week + pay)

Salary

  • starting at $1500 per Summer (Staff-in-Training are volunteer positions)
